The lure stays in a pothole longer, it can hover above an oyster bed, and you can "jig" the clean water window above the grass. The backward action mimics the natural motion of a fleeing shrimp. The Jerk Shrimp is in constant motion but stays in sight of the fish longer. Your cast takes 5x longer than normal which gives the fish more time to strike. Use alone or with a cup-face popper. To retrieve: Quickly pop 3 times, let sink, repeat. Great for Redfish, Flounder, Trout, and Snook.

The lure performs best with gentle rod tics and as many glide motions as possible in every cast. Slower is better - let the lure move through the entire water column before another rod tic. Forward motion shrimp are relaxed and Marker 54 Glide Shrimp should move calmly through the water. Use alone or with an oval popper. This bait is exclusive to Kingdom Baits. It’s our take on a longer-profile shrimp pattern that can twitch, jerk, and dart like a baitfish, but in the same cast can also glide in like a larger shrimp, appearing as an easy, vulnerable snack. This bait glides more realistically than any other shrimp bait on the market. It’s very versatile and effective with just about any rigging method. You can rig this bait on a weighted jig head or weighted weedless hook, but it also excels with a weightless presentation in the upper water column or in shallow water. Some hooks we recommend are a jig head or a 3/0 hook with a 1/16 to 1/8 oz weight. For weedless or weightless setups, the preferred EWG hooks are the Owner Beast 4/0 or Trokar 5/0.

The fluke is a great bait for triggering a reaction bite. Its sudden, erratic movement can entice strikes when fish are finicky. Its ability to pause on the bottom allows it to stay in the strike zone longer, increasing your chances of getting bit. Rig the fluke with a weighted jig head or a weighted weedless hook. The fluke has long been known for its deadly weightless presentation on grass beds in the spring, especially for big bass during the spawn. But this bait is also just as effective in saltwater when rigged weightless. Some hooks we recommend include a jig head or a 3/0 hook with a 1/16 to 1/8 oz weight. You can also use the Owner 5/0 “rigging hook,” run through the head of the bait from the bottom and out the top.

The swimbait is a paddle-tail profile that has always been a reliable producer of bites. In dirty water, it creates vibration that helps fish key in on it, while in clearer water, the tail’s action mimics a baitfish to entice strikes. This bait has the perfect balance of action and wobble to highlight the flake and color characteristics. It’s best rigged on a weighted jig head or a weighted weedless hook for heavy grass situations. Some hooks we recommend are a 3/0 hook with a 1/16 to 1/8 oz weight. Some anglers also prefer a 1/4 oz weight when sight casting from elevated positions. An EWG (extra wide gap) weedless hook, like the Trokar 5/0 or Owner Beast 4/0, is also a great choice.
