The body of our proven and famous Soft Dine XL, but with a new twist. The Shallow Diver is weighted differently, allowing the lure to walk the dog below the water's surface, or dart back and forth with quick twitches. Designed for shallow water, this lure perfectly imitates dying or lively baitfish, with several retrieval possibilities. Work it fast, slow, it will stay in the upper water column, perfect for probing shallow mullet schools and any structure you want.

The fluke is a great bait for triggering a reaction bite. Its sudden, erratic movement can entice strikes when fish are finicky. Its ability to pause on the bottom allows it to stay in the strike zone longer, increasing your chances of getting bit. Rig the fluke with a weighted jig head or a weighted weedless hook. The fluke has long been known for its deadly weightless presentation on grass beds in the spring, especially for big bass during the spawn. But this bait is also just as effective in saltwater when rigged weightless. Some hooks we recommend include a jig head or a 3/0 hook with a 1/16 to 1/8 oz weight. You can also use the Owner 5/0 “rigging hook,” run through the head of the bait from the bottom and out the top.
